Lead Teacher – Infant Age Group
Responsible for the planning and implementation of coordinated educational, physical and social activities for assigned group of children. Provide personal care and assistance to children as needed (feeding, toileting, etc.). Complete required documentation in a timely manner, meeting all necessary guidelines. Provide guidance and supervision to assigned Classroom staff.
Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or closely related field, SUTQ CPL Level 4 and 2-4 years previous child care experience in a supervisory/management role are required. Experience with children with disabilities or special needs in a childcare setting is highly preferred. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License; must be in compliance with Agency insurance carrier requirements, must meet all requirements necessary to provide non-medical and/or HPC transportation according to the Ohio Department of Development Disabilities. Certification in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and Communicable Diseases are required. Training hours as required by State of Ohio Licensing, Step Up to Quality and United Rehabilitation Services must also be completed annually.
