Duties
Plan monthly menus according to State/Federal CACFP Nutritional guidelines. Maintain and rotate stock and place food
orders and procure supplies as needed to ensure timely delivery for preparation and serving of required meals and snacks for
childcare and adult participants. Also prepare meals/food items for special meetings/events as needed.
Qualifications
Food Service Management or Culinary Arts Certificate from an accredited program with a minimum of two years
food service experience, preferably in a Supervisory capacity, required. Knowledge of State and Federal nutrition, health and safety
rules and regulations is essential. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to flex schedule on an as-needed
basis. Knowledge and familiarity of people with disabilities is preferred. Ability to assist with the development of the annual food
service budget as well as monitor and control the budget regularly. CPR and First Aide Certification are preferred. Must maintain
a valid Ohio driver’s license and safe driving record as well as SafeServ Certification.
