Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Young’s Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour is planning a one-day ride this year on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Join the URS Cycling Team and join us on this great ride that is very well supported with SAG support and rest-stops approximately every 15 miles.

There are different routes for this one-day ride, depending on how far you want to cycle. Mileage options include 24, 48, 60, 76 or 100 miles.  

We host four rally rides before the big ride so you can practice, have fun and get into shape!

The Ride starts at 8am Saturday. Check-in and registration opens at 7am at the picnic shelters at Young’s Jersey Dairy, located between The Dairy Store and Udders & Putters. Please arrive at least 45 minutes early to allow time for registration and breakfast. A continental breakfast will be available. Lunch is served at Urbana Station for the 48, 60, 76 & 100 mile options. If you ride the 24 mile option, you will receive a $10 gift card to use at Young’s on your return. If you are parking your car, please unload at the picnic shelter then park across the road in the field to leave more parking for Young’s guests throughout the day. All riders will return to the picnic shelter area at the end of the ride for ice cream.

The one day registration fee is $35 per rider plus a $165 charitable donation, for a total commitment of $200.

You are welcome to pay the charitable donations individually or ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers or employers to help sponsor your ride.  We do reward exceptional individual fundraisers!

This ride benefits 4 local charities: United Rehabilitation Services (URS), JDRF, Alzheimer’s Association and South Community Positive Health Options.
