Overcoming Challenges and Embracing New Opportunities

Stephanie’s journey, especially post-COVID-19, highlights the resilience and adaptability of our clients. Initially facing challenges in becoming active again, Stephanie found a new avenue for growth with the introduction of URS’s Community Integration Program. Encouraged by her family and our team, Stephanie embraced this opportunity with enthusiasm.

Stephanie’s Transformation through Community Activities

Since joining the program, Stephanie’s engagement levels have soared, not just within URS but also in her personal life. Her activities with URS are diverse and enriching, including volunteering at the Boonshoft Museum, participating in exercise sessions at the Kroc Center, and enjoying weekly library visits. Her recent decision to join the URS bowling group is another testament to her growing confidence and social involvement.

A Leader and Role Model Among Peers

Stephanie’s involvement goes beyond participation; she actively contributes to group discussions, offers positive encouragement to her peers, and assists staff and fellow participants in community settings. Her emergence as a leader and her achievement of personal milestones are sources of inspiration to all at URS.
