Before You Begin

We want to make sure your volunteer experience is rewarding and safe for everyone. Here's what to know:

  • Volunteers must be at least 15 years old (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
  • All volunteers complete a brief orientation and training
  • Background checks may be required for those volunteering more than three times per year or working directly with clients
  • URS is a nut-free facility
  • If you're feeling unwell, please reschedule—the health of our clients comes first

Volunteering is by appointment only. After you apply, our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to schedule your orientation and first visit.
