Meet Emma Hall – A Story of Progress and Hope

Emma Hall is a testament to resilience and progress. Born with a rare chromosomal disorder affecting her muscle tone, speech, and swallowing, she faces significant challenges daily. Due to aspirating liquids, she relies on a g-tube for nutrition but enjoys solid foods.

Emma joined URS in February 2022 as an infant, and today, at 4 years old, she is thriving in our preschool classroom. She receives occupational, physical and speech therapy on-site, eliminating the need for her mother, Shaunna, to leave work constantly for appointments.

🚀 Emma’s Amazing Progress:

✅ She now pulls herself up and moves around using furniture for support.
✅ Her sign language skills have increased dramatically, helping her communicate.
✅ She mimics her mom’s words, showing significant speech development.
✅ With URS’s full-time nurse on-site, her family feels secure knowing she is always cared for.
